Bristol's Upfest Festival gives street artists the freedom to paint the streets legally. Many graffiti artists take to the streets painting store and home fronts with their creative ideas.

Dozens of steet artists from around the world have created art works at Upfest in Bristol. Organisers describe the event as Europe's largest urban art festival. Some of the work is on massive scale - up to 3 storeys high; other work is humourous, some political and some has gone with the Jubilee theme. Shops in Bristol's North Street in the bedminster district have had the opportunity to have their shop fronts repainted with high quality street art.
