Tamworth CFR group is a newly formed Community First Responder Group based in Fazeley, Staffordshire. Their mission is to provide a Community based First Responder Team to cover the Tamworth and Fazeley areas of Staffordshire. With a population of 70,000 and an area of approx 70 sq miles, it is quite a challenge. The area varies from densely populated urban to open, remote farmland. They are in the early stages of formation and welcome anyone who is genuinely committed to assisting others at times of medical or traumatic distress. They operate on an entirely voluntary basis and have to raise funds to purchase all equipment and pay ongoing costs.
