Earthquake in Italy ruins parts of Mirandola in Modena

Mirandola is a Renaissance city in the Province of Modena, Italy. On May 29, 2012 a powerful earthquake hit the Mirandola area, killing 17 people and collapsing churches and factories. The 5.8 magnitude quake also left 14,000 people homeless.
