More than 40 thousands of people protest against the decision of the PM that two idled reactors at the Oi nuclear power plant in Fukui Prefecture, the west part of Japan will be reactivated for the first time since last year’s Fukushima disaster.
Prime Ministre Yoshihiko Noda decided last Saturday morning the first reactivation of nuclear power plant in Japan since the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami even though nothing has resolved the crisis at Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO)’s Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
Protesters got together after working instead of going to drink this weekend and the prime minister’s official residence in Tokyo was surrounded by them saying NO to the reactivation of the Oi nuclear power plant.
