Sankhu is a very old Newar city and lies 23 km from Kathmandu.They will dance the whole night visiting the 8 places around the city. They were representing God Bhairav,devi and Chandi. The symbol of the Demons also dance on same time. The dance symbolise the announcement of starting of great festival of Nepal (Dashain).
