Monsoon season brings rain in Dhaka

The southwest monsoon, which blows from the Indian Ocean to Bangladesh from the southwest direction causing rains, lasts from early June to mid-August.
The monsoon wind has already been active in most parts of the country, including Chittagong, Barisal and Sylhet divisions and some parts of Dhaka division.
Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur today at many places over Chittagong, Barisal and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur and Khulna divisions.
The maximum temperature in Dhaka came down to 32.8 degrees Celsius due to cloudy weather.
