In a small village of Galicia a traditional event is celebrated called the Shearing of the Beasts, where men of the village have to catch wild horses inside a corral and cut their manes.

This is highly impressive but not offensive to the horses. It's a tradition very old in this part of Spain and the most impressive is the Shearing of the Beasts made in Sabucedo, A Estrada, Spain.
