The Canadian Little League Championships saw the tone being set for the rest of the tournament after the two days of competition. The winner of the tournament will represent Canada in Willamsport, Pennsylvania at the Little League World Series.

After 2 Days of competition the 2012 Canadian Little League Championships are proving why these teams are the best in Canada. After 2 Days of competition B.C. (hastings) and the Prairies (Lethbridge) are 2-0 Atlantic (Glace Bay 1-1 Ontario (High Park) 1-1 Quebec (Nôtre-Dame-de-Grâce) 0-2 Host (Millwoods) 0-2.

With 3 more days of competition in the round robin, it is still anybody's to win or lose. Games will continue Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 12,3 and 6pm MDT (-7 GMT) at John Fry Park in Edmonton, Alberta.

The pitching and defence have been the stories but 2 Little Leaguers Lethbridge's Wyatt Tomalty and Hasting's Steven Moretto popped home runs clearing the fence at least 10-15 feet beyond the 225 marker in center field, and helping their teams to a win.

August 6 Scheduled Games - Quebec Vs Ontario at Noon, Ontario Vs Prairies at 3pm and Host Vs BC at 6pm. (All time MST, -7 GMT)

The winner of the Tournament will represent Canada in Willamsport Pennsylvania at the Little League World Series.
