Ma'nene was mummified by the ritual cleaning Tanah Toraja, ma'nene done before the planting season arrives or before August ends, the ritual is carried out every three years, is a showcase Ma'nene also miss each family gathering.

This year Ma'nene carried on in the village ale cider located in sesehan mountain Tanah Toraja regency, mummy to be in the clear is a family owned Sambara, Peter Till Sambara are mummies 100-year-old,during his lifetime Peter Till Samabra is one of the traditional leaders in the village of Tanah Toraja cider ale,this ritual takes place for 3 days, where on the first day of the mummies issued Pa'tane (pa'tane is a cemetery in the middle of a large rock), after mummy issued later in the clothes clean and replaced with clothing worn when mummy was alive, in the second day of the mummy back in put in Pa'tane and then closed, the day last is the day where families gathered to offer prayer and thanksgiving throw a party.
