150 Years Of Dedication - Indianapolis Fire Department
The Indianapolis Fire Department (IFD) continues with it's year of celebration for 150 years of service and dedication to Indianapolis citizens. Saturday IFD held an All Firefighter Parade through downtown ending the the Union Hall of Local 416. Hundreds of supporters lined the streets to catch a glimpse of old and new fire apparatus from all over the state with their neatly dressed crews. Earlier events to honor the departments 150th anniversary of proud service included tournament, shows, and motorcycle rides with a Firemans' Ball later this year.
