South Africa’s Branden Grace was the man to beat on day three of the 2012 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. His course record sixty at Kingsbarns on the first day secured the lead and he stayed in front on day two and into the third day.
The Championship is played over three of the world’s best known and respected links courses – the Old Course at St Andrews, the Championship Course at Carnoustie and the highly regarded Kingsbarns Golf Links.
Competitors play each course in turn, with the final day being played over the Old Course at St Andrews.
It incorporates two separate competitions - an individual professional tournament for the world's leading golfers and a team event in which the professionals are paired with some of the most celebrated amateur golfers, and has a prize fund of US$5 million.
