Ivanishvili presents new structures for the future cabinet of Georgia
The billionaire whose opposition coalition won Georgia's parliamentary election tapped two former diplomats with pro-Western views to take key positions in the government when he becomes prime minister later this month.
The candidate in prime ministers of Georgia and leader of the political coalition Georgian Dream Bidzina Ivanishvili has presented the list of candidates to positions in new cabinet of Georgia.
According to the presented list, Irakli Alasania leader of the party Our Georgia - Free democrats is the candidate in minister of defense and the deputy prime minister, Thea Tsulukiani, re-known lawyer, is the candidate in the minister of justice, Irakli Garibashvili, one of leaders of the coalition Georgian Dream is the candidate in the minister of internal affairs, Sozar Subari, former Ombudsman of Georgia, is the candidate in the minister of execution of punishments, Maia Pandzhikidze, the press speaker of the coalition, is the candidate in the minister of foreign affairs.
Lawyer Archil Kbilashvili is presented to a position of the Prosecutor General.
Famous Georgian football player Kakha Kaladze is the candidate on post of the deputy prime minister and the minister of regional development and infrastructure of Georgia. Leader of Republican Party David Usupashvili will be presented on a post of the chairman of Parliament of Georgia.
