The 2012 Bangkok Rugby Sevens took place from 26th to 28th October at the Police Stadium, Vibhavadee Rangsit Road. In the men's final New Zealand 4 Nations beat Hong Kong Lions, Srinakharin claiming the Ladies trophy over Thammasat.
This was the 18th annual Bangkok International Rugby 7's tournament, organised as slickly as ever by Dave Dufall, along with his wife Kate, before they return to live in Australia at the end of the year.
Hailed as 'arguably the best rugby sevens in SE Asia', the tournament always attracts a variety of international and local teams.
This year, the matches were played in energy-sapping temperatures of around 35 degrees... but no there was no shortage of liquids.
