Monument to Steve Jobs opens in St. Petersburg, Russia

An interactive sculpture of glass and metal in the form of the iPhone, was erected in memory of Apple founder Steve Jobs, in Saint Petersburg's State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics.

The author of the sculpture, whose height is 188 centimeters, was Gleb Tarasov.
A competition to select a Steve Jobs monument project was announced on July 23. A total of 25 projects have made it into the final.
The winner will be chosen by a jury of St. Petersburg IT experts and by an online vote.
