USS New York, Brooklyn Bridge, and Statue of Liberty at Dusk

With 7.5 tons of steel salvaged from the ruins of the World Trade Center structured in her bow, the USS New York rests on the Hudson River on Manhattan's West side, at dusk. New York. 8/11/2009.

The ship is the fifth ship in the LPD 17 San Antonio class of amphibious transport dock ships, and it is crewed by 360 sailors and 3 marines.
