The motorcade of US president Barack Obama arrives at Santory Hall, Tokyo. The incumbent US president is going to to discuss 'his view of American engagement on Asia', and is is scheduled to meet with the Emperor and Empress of Japan.

When I arrived at the main entrance of the hall I looked for some other photographers to position myself in a good place. I noticed several secret service agents eying me suspiciously. When I noticed two Reuters photographers I just whipped out my camera & ID and tagged along with them. When we hit the police line I just let them do the talking and pretended to be part of their little party. Soon after I reached the media circus. The angle we were allowed to shoot from was not that great. I think nobody was able to catch a clear window shot of the car as the angle was too reflective, even with a polarizer.

1 - Japanese and International photographers gathered at the bottom of the road to get a shot of the presidents arrival at the hall.
2- The road that the US president would drive down was cleared by the Tokyo police early on.
3- Police officers were running hither and dither shortly minutes before the presidents arrival.
4- The motorcade of Barack Obama is pulling into the parking garage of Santory Hall. A look alike of Barrack Obama was sitting in the first limo while the real Obama was in the second limousine.
5- Japan / US flags lined several of the main roads in Tokyo.
