Sleaford, Lincolnshire, and a gap in the high street remains unfilled as the ghost of Woolworths continues to haunt the local economy. It is estimated that for every pound in the locals pockets an incredible 86 pence is spent outside the town. As one of the few high street names in the town, Woolworths is still deeply missed two months on.
