Yves Rossy "jetman" fails to cross from Africa to Europe
The swiss ex-commercial-pilot Yves Rossy at the airport of Tangiers, north of Morocco, before taking off in his try to cross between Africa and Europe (Spain). Tangiers, Morocco. 25/11/2009.
Rossy failed due to mechanical problems in the wings and ended in the waters of the strait of Gibraltar.

The mission failed due to mechanical problems in the wings. Perhaps it was too windy and the system didn't work, stability of the wing must be low in such conditions.
