The Sonica Reloaded Festival took place near Rome this summer. Around 5000 people attended this music festival. Rome, Italy, 01.08.2009

It was supposed to be a eco-sustainable festival but the organisation was awful. Security guards were driving around on quads and cars where using the same road used by ravers to access the music area. The night was very foggy when I took these shots, the cars were creating a lot of dust. Altogether this created a very peculiar and surreal atmosphere that could remind post-apocalyptic movies.

During the day people could also go and relax around the river bed close to the festival area.

The first day of camping was marked by a funny story. A horse and a poney stood in the middle of the tents without moving for hours. They vanished the next day and weren't spotted again.
