Lobbyists for Profitable Climate Solutions

There was also a much smaller protest apart from the demonstration where over 60 people were arrested today; from the women only “Lobbyists for Profitable Climate $olutions”. Representing the female elite, they call upon a less violent, but much more controvers demonstration against the corporate world. Right at the city hall, where the plaza has been filled with entertainment and advertisement during the climate summit, the “lobbyists” call out:

“I like green; its the color of money…We work for green solutions – as long as we do not have to sacrifice our right to exploit and expand.”

while offering grapes and sandwhiches to the visitors and drinking happily champagne.

Hopenhagen seems to be the corporate response to the climate summit, where a baloon earth, technology/business booths, try to attract the attention of many visitors through flashy lights. A big Christmas tree in the middle shows signs of Christmas; the lights can only be ilumunated through the human power of bicycling.
