At the Klimaforum (COP15) today new visitors arrive from all over the world, using every last available place to rest or network. Some talks, including those from Vendana Shiva on GM crops had to be closed due to limits on the capacity of the room. Copenhagen, Denmark. 11/12/2009.
A lot of people arrived today from across Europe to take part in the weekend actions on the streets, the Klimaforum or the Bella Center. Within the halls of the „people climate summit“, were filled with new arrivers, using the floor as a resting place, and representatives as work spaces.
On the interior overpass over the DGI-byen there are some chairs and tables, where some might find a rest and overlook the public athletes doing their fitness.
A great symbol of physical and mental exercise. But even the Klimaforum does not want to exceed their limitations, closing the entrance for some visitors, trying to hear the talk of Vandana Shive, Debi Barker and others about “Say No to GMOs: Why GM crops ar enot a climate or food security solution”.
