Greek Greens add their voice to global call to stop climate change

Greek greens joined in with the wave of worldwide events designed to raise awareness of climate change. With tens of thousands expected to gather in Copenhagen, ecology groups in Thessaloniki and Athens handed out leaflets and organised meetings.

Both Greece's major cities suffer from acute air pollution and lack of green spaces.
