Bangladesh observes Martyred Intellectuals Day
People observing the 39th Martyred Intellectual Day at Ray’rbazaar mass killing ground in Dhaka. On this day people pay tribute to the memory of the university professors and teachers, scientists, doctors, writers and artists who were picked up by the infamous al-Badr and Razakar goon squads and brutally killed by the collaborators of the Pakistan occupation army. In this day people from the capital and other part of the country gather here to pay tribute to the memory of the university professors and teachers, scientists, doctors, writers and artists who were picked up by the infamous al-Badr and Razakar goon squads and brutally killed by the collaborators of the Pakistan occupation army. Thy day is being observed amid growing demand for trial of war criminals who annihilated the country’s top intellectuals and professionals on this day at the far end of the liberation war of 1971.
