A suicide bomb attack at 9:49am on 15th December in Kabul leaves a large mushroom cloud hanging over the Wazir Akbar Khan area. Unconfirmed reports suggest the bomb may have been aimed at the house of Ahmad Zia Massoud, former vice-president and brother of the late commander Ahmad Shah Massoud, who was assassinated on the 9th September, 2001.
