Students of the Banaba Elementary School hold a singing and dance program for their pre-Christmas celebration. Wearing Santa’s hat, school children dance to the tune of “nobody, nobody but you”.
The community was hard hit by the flash flood brought about by typhoon Ondoy last September 26 this year. One school building was submerged by the flash flood and still covered by mud. Despite the hardships in the recovery process the people are undergoing through in this place, the parents and the teachers came up with a simple program for the school graders. The program also signals the beginning of Christmas vacation for the students until the first week of January.
