A blast of winter brought some seasonable snowfall and slick roads across Poland and Austria. In a bit of irony, it could also have cooled the enthusiasm for fighting climate change in Copenhagen, as many world leaders realized that yes, real winter still exists from time to time. Central Europe is used to the winter, unlike France and England where the snowfall caused a major traffic paralysis, shutting down many airports, motorways and most notably the tunnel undet the English Channel.
