A number of new vehicles were revealed at the 2010 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), also known as the Detroit Auto Show. Amongst the new vehicles on display this year was the BMW Mini E electric car. The show is being held at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan, USA. 13/01/2010. The famous North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), or more popularly known as the Detroit Auto Show is normally one of the biggest auto shows around the world. Like every year, this event is held at the Cobo Centre in Detroit, Michigan and features vehicles from various manufacturers around the world. Luckily I was given industry day tickets to the event and was able to preview the show before the general public. Last year the show was downsized due to the economic situation however this year did not seem to improve as much. The show was still relatively small compare to previous years but this did not stop the auto makers from revealing new vehicles and concept vehicles. Some of the vehicles that were revealed at the show included the BMW Mini E (electric vehicle leased out for private testing), 2012 Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept (luxury large size sedan), 2011 Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept (new sportier compact hatchback), GMC Granite Concept (compact urban utility crossover), and the Mercedes-Benz CLS sculpture (an artwork showing the potential lines of the new CLS). Some production cars includes the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Chevrolet Camaro (new green), GMC Acadia Denali, Buick Regal GS, Honda CR-Z, and Mazda 2.
