In this case a Gendu Mulatip (90 years) is like a candle in the dark lives of the people with mental disorders. In one corner stood a Bekasi city Galuh Foundation Gendu Mulatip pioneered since 1983, sad to see the surrounding community treatment for people with mental disorders then this middle-aged man with all its limitations ventured to collect, manage and even cure mental patients.
Galuh Foundation currently has approximately 230 patients with a staff of about 40 people. For the staff, their job is not just a mere job but a part of the dedication of their lives, where their lives are often even their families had to dinomor duakan for their patients.
Foundation Galuh actually exceed their capacity, which is designed to handle fewer than 200 patients, but to reject the patient is not possible because they have to help and the limited existence of facilities for people with mental disorders elsewhere.
Those patients who come from 13 provinces, various ethnic, age and background to the evidence that mental illness knows no boundaries.
