The US Air Force combat rescuers, the Pedros fly into the battlefield in Afghanistan rescuing allied troops, local Afghans and even wounded Taliban fighters. Their mission is to save lives no matter where, what or how. They are educated to rescue in water, on mountains and in the middle of fire-fights. Afghanistan. 22/11/09.

Thanks guys. Thought they were a little different. All photos taken under critical light conditions in a moving chopper so I'm surprised it worked out
