Folk Singer Billy Bragg Protests Royal Bank of Scotland Bonuses at Speakers Corner
Sunday 31st January 2010 Billy Bragg, the famous, musician, folk singer and political activist, spoke at London’s Speakers Corner in support of his campaign to withhold his taxes in protest at the RBS bankers bonuses. Bragg, also known as the Barking Bard is spearheading a campaign against excessive bonuses for bankers and, at the latest count, has 25,000 people following his Facebook campaign. In recent weeks Bragg has been extensively interviewed including BBC, GMTV and even be Respect MP George Galloway on the radio.
