Love A Child Village in Haiti treats child amputees

Love A Child Village, is a humanitarian organisation in Haiti, a few kilometres from the Dominican Republic border. The hospital has been treating children and adults with serious injuries as a result of the 7.0 earthquake. Haiti. 27/01/2010.

The Hospital specializes in amputees, and has doctors and specialists from around the world volunteering to treat the patients. Their work is so crucial to the survival of the patients, even the most simplest wound could get infected resulting in the loss of a limb. But with proper treatment, patients have a better chance of recovery.
