Having joined Sony Corporation in 1986 where he was involved in the corporate strategy group, as well as coordinating the PC business and developing software as one of the initial members of the PlayStation project, he became Senior vice president, product development, Sony Computer Entertainment America in March 2007 and president of Sony Worldwide studios on May 16th 2008.
