New Headquarters for Japanese Embassy in Haiti

The Japanese have moved their official embassy to this apartment complex, on the hillside overlooking the town of Port-au-Prince. The apartment complex sustained minimal damaged from the 7.0 earthquake, and european engineers concluded the building is safe.

The embassy staff are coordinating with relief efforts across the city, and used this office as their main base of operations.
