Feminine front organises activity in aid of the Day of Love.
The Feminine Civic Front "Gladis Núñez" organized this event on the 14th February for to celebrate the day of love - St Valentines.
Over twenty women gathered in the Municipio Playa to celebrate this wonderful day. The president Marta Bonachea congratulated all the attendees demonstrated that love for the homeland kept all Cubans united who want freedom and peace for their country. Allegorical poems were read and there was a raffle which was very popular with the people there.
Special guests included Francisco Chaviano y Ana Aguililla from la Unidad Liberal de la Republica de Cuba, Ana Margarita Perdigón and Rene Gómez Manzano from "la Corriente Agramontista de Abogados Independientes," a representation from the Comité de Madres “Leonor Pérez”, Aime Cabrera, independent journalist and myself along with my wife Aini, representing the Proyecto de Bibliotecas Independientes de Cuba.

Frente femenino realiza actividad por el día del amor.
El Frente Cívico Femenino “Gladis Núñez” realizo este 14 de Febrero una actividad celebrando el día de San Valentín.
Una veintena de mujeres se reunieron en el Municipio Playa para celebrar este hermoso día, su presidenta Marta Bonachea felicito a todos los presentes y manifestó como el amor a la patria mantenía unidos a muchos cubanos que desean la libertad y la paz para su patria. Se leyeron poemas alegóricos a la fecha y se realizo una rifa la cual entusiasmo a mucho de los presentes.
Como invitados especiales se encontraban Francisco Chaviano y Ana Aguililla de la Unidad Liberal de la Republica de Cuba, Ana Margarita Perdigón y Rene Gómez Manzano por la Corriente Agramontista de Abogados Independientes, una representación del Comité de Madres “Leonor Pérez”, Aime Cabrera, periodista independiente y este reportero con su esposa Aini Martín Valero, representando al Proyecto de Bibliotecas Independientes de Cuba.
