Louisville, Colorado dedicates statue and plaza in memorial of much-loved resident John Breaux, killed a year ago while picking up trash on US Highway 287 in Lafayette. Breaux was known throughout the area for riding around on his bicycle, picking up trash and doing kind deeds for many.
The community raised some $35,000 for the statue project. Local sculptor Dawn Record donated her time to create the piece.
