Govorite Gromche London Rally Marks Its Third Anniversary in the UK
Govorite Gromche (Speak Louder) rally opposite the Russian Embassy in Notting Hill marked the third anniversary of its work in the UK. Participants demanded political freedom and justice in Russia.
Govorite Gromche international movement marked its third anniversary in the UK with a meeting opposite the Russian Embassy in London. Its first meeting took place exactly three years ago on the 31 August 2010 at the same location. Boris Berezovsky and Marina Litvinenko were among the participants at that time.
Over the past years the movement went from strength to strength. Both Russians and those interested in the socio-political developments in Russia had numerous opportunities to meet at rallies, film shows and discussions in London.
According to Andrey Sidelnikov, the leader of Govorite Gromche movement, three newly wed couples were formed as a result of his events. "I am a matchmaker just as well," - he joked.
