Girls service-station attendants wearing sex uniforms are questioned by the Brazilian authorities Anteia, 23 years old, is a Brazilian pretty girl. She works as “frentista” (service-station attendant) at the Venice gasoline station in Madureira, a suburb of Rio de Janeiro. The owner of the Venice station is Eduardo, her boyfriend, but he is not jealous, despite Anteia wears a very sex uniforms during her job. Sex girls service-station attends are used more and more in the gasoline stations of Rio de Janeiro, because they are young, gorgeous and hard workers. They are much more preferred then men because of their kindness, grace and, above all, patience to the drivers that stop at the station to refuel their vehicles and starring at the girls wearing tight shorts, deep necklines and happy smiling. Two members of the Brazilian parliament, Ines Pandelo and Geraldo Moreira, have presented a proposal of federal law to prevent that owners of gas stations, and any another commerce or lender of services compel, contract employees using provocative uniforms, as shorts, stocking, bikini and tight pants to attract more customers. A similar project was approved in the Commission of Social security and Family of the Federal Chamber - causing great resistance on the part of the owners of gas stations - but it is not a federal law yet and nobody respect the rules of the Commission. “Our project – says Pandelo - is not moralist: we do not want to forbid anybody to use shorts or bikini. In the truth, we demand respect for the woman and to the human being. A product has to be sold by its quality and not because a woman put on a bikini or shorts for announcing it”. The Brazilian parliament member also says that when this occurs is being “discriminated” the women taht are not fit in the "standard of beauty” established by the media: “They are being excluded oldest, fat and the ones carrying bodies deficiency”, says. To Pandelo, attendants wearing sex dresses is a sort of prostitution: “They sell gasoline with the woman”, says the represent of the Brazilian Parliament. “They force us to use these shorts. Sometime is very hard”, Eliane, a girl attendant, said. Eliane arrives at the gasoline station without wearing her uniform. Eliane would not talk so much, she is afraid for the boss to fire her for her declaration. Geisa is a colleague of Anteia and every day takes some food in a bar during the lunch time. She walks in a very popular district as far as the bar wearing her sex uniform. A man in the street screams to her: “Gostosa”, gorgeous. She doesn’t care about him and goes further. She enters in a very crowded bar full of men eating and looking at her: “It’s heavy, really, but how can I do? There are not so much jobs vacant and I need money for my family”, Geisa, a 24 years old, married with a child, said. Another question raised by the member of the Brazilian parliament is the one connected with health: “The women have much more contact with fuels, gasoline, oil, alcohol and some of them present burnings in their legs. What it occurs, the uniform has the purpose to attract customers, but doesn’t offer security in the question of health employees”, said. Many gasoline stations sell no regular gasoline. They buy fuel from illegal distributors and sell it cheaper. Sex attendants are especially used in these illegal gas stations to push customers to purchase illegal gasoline. "It is a kind of customer - Eulália Benevides, manager of a gas station in Niterói (Rio de Janeiro) says - who does not make me lack. People who are talking with the young women in the gasoline station confuse the routine of the place". Benevides sells regular gasolina and her attendants works wearing traditional uniform, no sex at all. Sex attendants in the gas station provoke a discrimination too, because women are preferred then men to work in the gasoline stations. Mostly of the women working in the resale is married, has children and, fez times, conciliate another profession. Anteia, and her colleagues, works six hors a day. She still lives with her parents in Belford Roxo, and takes one hour by bus to reach Venice gasoline station. "Perhaps the biggest problem are not men, and yes the women clients. Some of them are bad, they do not leave us to come closer to them. I remember a woman customer said that our job is ridiculous and we offer us above gasoline. Some women come at the station just to look us”, says Geisa. “They bring a different dynamics to the service”, Raymond Miquilino, a manager of a gasoline station, said. Miquilino also affirms that women they are likeable and clever, they “breaks the ice in the hour of the attendance'', says. The general feeling in the gasoline station is really different by the presence of a woman. The Anteia’s birthday has been celebrated at the Venice gas station. She received some flowers from her boyfriend and Simone, one of her colleagues, gave a sex panties and brassiere as present to her as present. A cake was served to the attendants.
