The LHC has been restarted in February 2010, The LHC (Large Hadron Collider) is a particle accelerator, it extends for 27 km beneath the franco-swiss border near by Geneva (50 meters below the surface).

It will work only 50% power rating. The purpose is to better understand the law of nature and the big-bang theory, due to Cern's speaker, scientists believe life on heart happened by accident, the particle accelerator will hopefully reveal the truth about it .The LHC will shut down in 2012 for ordinary repairs to re-open in 2013.
