Huaico

Huaico, palabra de origen quechua (idioma de los incas), que significa avalancha, aceptada como parte del castellano y se refiere a un deslizamiento de tierra con agua (a veces con piedras) debido a lluvias.

Cuando Las lluvias son más fuertes en la parte de chosica, Matucana y San Pedro de Casta, Los Huaicos aparecen con fuerte intensidad. A solo 4 a 6 Horas afuera de Lima.

Cada ano se produce los Huaicos y con ello una ola de desastres, inundaciones, muertes, miedo a los pobladores y danos psicológicos post-desastres.

Como podemos evitar? Quienes son los responsables? O no estamos prevenidos para estos fenómenos naturales que causan desastres a pueblos olvidados.

Decidí irme a la meseta de Markahuasi, había escuchado y leído mucho de este recinto y tenia muchas ganas de pasar unos días en la meseta. Así que prepare mi cámara y mi maleta y fui en busca de encontrar las bellas piedras.

Había escuchado a mis padres decirme que tenga mucho cuidado, mejor no vallas, yo le decía ¿Por qué? Porque hay muchos huaicos y en esa zona siempre hay desastres de HUAICOS.

¿Qué Es Un Desastre?
Un desastre es un suceso, natural o causado por el hombre, de tal severidad y magnitud que normalmente resulta en muertes, lesiones y daños a la propiedad y que no puede ser manejado mediante los procedimientos y recursos rutinarios del gobierno.
Ahora que ya sabemos esta definición podemos decir que los huaicos son fenómenos naturales y es por ello que le tenemos que dar un profundo respeto, y educar a los pobladores de ello, estos fenómenos naturales pueden convertir en desastre la realidad especialmente para los pobladores que viven cerca de esto es por ello que les tenemos que informar y educar a ellos dándole una cultura de PREVENCION.
No Tenemos un plan de Prevención, sin embargo en 1972 se hizo un estudio de inundaciones y huaico y se concluyo sobre Trabajar con una cultura de Prevención.
¿Que podemos concluir? ¿Que Paso? ¿No estamos trabajando en esto?
Lo más importante es Dar una cultura de Prevención a estos pueblos que generalmente son olvidados por estar afuera de Lima. Una buena administración Requiere la respuesta inmediata, coordinada y efectiva de múltiples organizaciones del gobierno y del sector privado para satisfacer las necesidades médicas, logísticas y emocionales, y para acelerar la recuperación de las poblaciones afectadas.
Asimismo este entendimiento es importante para la planificación de los servicios de salud mental de emergencia para los varios sectores de la población (Niños y familias).
Ademas podemos decir que si se forma un grupo de trabajo de poder canalizar el agua con infraestructura se podria dar agua potable a las familias de la comunidad y asi darle una mejor calidad de vida.

What we can do? How we can avoid? That we are not prepared for these natural phenomenons that cause disaster to those forgotten villages?
I Decided to go away to Markahuasi's plateau, I’ve been listened and well-read much of this place and tape-worm many desires of happening (passing) a few days in the plateau. This way that prepares my camera and my suitcase and I was in search of finding the beautiful stones.
I’ ve been listened to my parents to say to me that I should not came Because there are many huaicos and in this zone always there are HUIACOS's disasters.
What Is A Disaster? A disaster is an event, natural or caused by the man, of such a severity and magnitude that normally results in deaths, injuries and hurts (damages) to the property and that cannot be handled by means of the procedures and routine resources of the government.
Now that already we know this definition we can say that the huaicos are natural phenomenon and it is for it that we have to give them a deep respect, and educate the settlers of it, these natural phenomena can turn into disaster the reality specially for the settlers who live near this.
it is for it that we have to inform and educate them giving a culture of PREVENTION.
We do not have a plan of Prevention, nevertheless in 1972 a study of floods was done and huaico and I conclude to work in The culture of Prevention.
That we can conclude? We need to work in this very quickly.
The most important it gives a Culture of prevention to those places that are out of Lima and usually are forgetting. Good administration requires the immediate, coordinated and effective response of multiple organizations of the government and of the sector deprived to satisfy the medical, logistic and emotional needs, and to accelerate the recovery of the affected populations.
Likewise this understanding is important for the planning of the services of mental health of emergency for several sectors of the population (children’s and families).
Add we can say that if we form groups of works, with the finality to canalize the water with infrastructure, we can give clean water to the community and give them a better quality of life.
