The recently constructed Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre is waiting on the completion of a disabled access ramp. The project was designed by NHArchitecture and Woods Bagot, reportedly costing the Victorian tax payers 370 million.
The Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development are project partners along with The City of Melbourne.
A wooden ramp provides temporary disabled access while the new concrete access ramp has taken months to be
completed.
The MCEC is located on Clarendon Street next to the Yarra river.
