Eight people who climbed the Colosseum to protest against evictions and against the housing plan of the city of Rome, have been camping out there since 27th February. They are protesting that the current housing plan for the city does not provide sufficient housing to provide solutions to the many emergencies cases of people who have been waiting for years for the allocation of housing. Rome. March 6, 2010. 8 people live on the Colosseum to protest against evictions and against the housing plan of the City of Rome since 27 February this year. They deny that the House plan does not provide a sufficient amount of housing to provide solutions to the many emergencies around 40 thousand people are waiting for years for the allocation of housing. The demonstrators, despite the cold winter living in tents and they waved a banner that said "A house, a life".
