Various members from different organisation participated in the demonstration including the trade unions, UGT and CC.OO, the PSOE and IU. The demonstration left plaza de Jacinto Benavente at seven thirty in the evening and continued until Atocha.

Many of those taking part had placards and were shouting in favour of free abortion rights and demanding free motherhood.

At the head of the demonstration was a female percussion instrument band.
