One of a series of pictures taken in Haiti as part of the Advance Party for Imamia Medics International, an NGO based in Princeton, New Jersey. The 3 man team was sent to assess the medical needs of 10 particular areas. This young child was sat outside the rubble of a school in Carrefour, Haiti. 07/03/2010.

I saw this young guy at the outside of a Shia schhol for Haitians in Carrefour. What caught my eye was this steely gaze he had. He saw the team leader, the translator and I go into the rubble filled school yard, and he stayed; he stayed so we could see this picture.
