Thousands of Israelis gathered at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron for a ceremony celebrating the caves inclusion on the Likud governments list of Jewish national heritage sites.Speakers at the event included a number of Israeli knesset members. MK Ayoob Kara (Likud)the opening speaker at the event said that "The Israeli Prime Minister needs to say no to Barack Hussain Obama and yes to the Israeli people.And that" building permits should be granted for building settlements and building in the whole of Israel".MK Proffessor Aryeh Eldad (National Union) said that "Five years ago, not many people understood that Gush Katif was the security belt for Ashkelon and Ber Sheva,”and that today "Hebron is the security belt for Jerusalem".MK Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) Told the crowd that “Jerusalem is not like Tel Aviv and Hebron is not like Tel Aviv" and that "We love Tel Aviv, which is 101 years old, while Jerusalem is 3,000 years old and Hebron is 4,000 years old." and "No foreign leader will tell us what to do in places that belong to our forefathers" other individuals present at the event included MK Otniel Schneller (Kadima), Deputy Minister Gila Gamliel (Likud) and Kiryat Arba Mayor Malachi Levenger.The speakers were presented with certificates marking the event by members of Hebron,s Jewish Community
