Protest against using English in Math and Science at school

in Politics, on the 7th of March 2009

Riot police fired tear gas on some 8,000 people marching to Istana Negara demanding that Science and Mathematics be taught in the national Malay language in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The march and the subsequent rain has caused massive traffic jams in the city. The crowd had planned to submit a memorandum to the King to protest and urge the government to abolish the use of English in the teaching of the two subjects.

I think this is very dangerous because you know Malaysia language is the spirit of Malaysia . It will be a big mistake that those enterprises who want to make business in Malaysia impose their own cultural way. So I do believe that it is now time to react and say 'stop, respect people, learn Malaysia, learn German, learn Chinese and Arabic as well as English'.
