Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has said that martyrs of Timirgarah’s incident have registered their names in the list of martyrs of Babra, Takkar and Qissa Khwani as first martyrs of Khyber Pukhtoon Khwa. He termed suicide blast in ANP rally as inhumane and brutish act. He expressed these views while distributing financial assistance cheques among heirs of martyrs after inquiring about health of injured at District Headquarter Hospital and later on talking to media persons upon his brief visit to Timirgarah on Wednesday. Senator Zahid Khan, Senior Provincial Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour, Povincial Ministers Mian Iftekhar Hussain, Haji Hidayat Ullah and Mehmood Zeb, High Provincial and District Officials, Bahade Khan, Zahirshah and other office-bearers of ANP were also present on the occasion.
Heirs of all Shuhadas and injured have been given financial assistance worth 3, 3 lakhs and 1, 1 lakh rupees respectively. The chief Minister lauded the spirit and patience of relatives of Shuhadas and said that the spirit and patience demonstrated by the gallant Pakhtoons of district Dir is matchless. He said that the Pakhtoon nation and soldiers of Bacha Khan’s contingent is playing leading role in the war for survival of the country “ANP has rendered the sacrifices of its people representatives and hundreds of workers and has proved as the real heirs of its elders and leaders. The followers of Bacha Khan have thwarted every mess woven against the Pakhtoons by rendering sacrifices of their lives”. Hoti declared. He further added that they are still committed against terrorism and will never take rest until the elimination of the last terrorist.
He said that the Pakhtoon nation is ready and committed for the elimination of menace of terrorism with firm commitment and unity in ranks. He also announced construction of monument of martyrs of Timirgarah and has issued directives to concerned authorities on the spot. He said that needs of DHQ Hospital regarding staff, medicines and others will also be fulfilled. He also assured staff of para medics for justice adding that families of community police shuhadas will also be provided with financial assistance.
The Chief Minister inquired about the health of 68 under treatment patients and talked intimately to elders patients in the hospital. He said that he can not explain patience and tolerance of the injured in words.
Provincial Minister for Information Mian Ifthkhar Hussain prayed for peace in heaven of the deceased and speedy health of the injured. He also offered dua for high spirits of the people for elimination of terrorists.
