The Danish Queen Margrethe II celebrated today her 70th birthday and as every year she appeared with her family on the balcony of the Amalienborg Palace to salute the thousend of Danes that came to wave to the queen.
After the celebration at Amalienborg the Queen and the Prince Henrik moved in a 'carriage' through the streets of Copenhagen up until to city council, where she received a check of nearly 50.000 US$ as a gift.
