Tibetan Marks 50 years of Uprising (Dalai Lama's 50 years in Exile)
March 10, 2009 marks the 50th anniversary of Tibetan Uprising.50 years back March 10,1959 Dalai Lama and his followers flee into Exile after an failed Uprising against the Communist China, which forced him and his followers to reside in Exile since then.
The day was marked with Massive Protest rallies, Dalai's Lama speech to the Tibetan People and followed a press conference on this tense day in Dharamsala, India ( Exile home of Dalai Lama and his thousands of Tibetan people, Also the location of Tibetan Government in Exile).
The entire event was held in Main Temple just opposite to the Dalai Lama's Exile Home which also included Chinese supporters expressing their solidarity with the Tibetan people.
Hundreds of Monks, Elder and young Tibetan hold massive Free Tibet and anti-China slogans , some of them as " China get out of a Tibet ", "Free Tibet", " China stop cultural genocide inside Tibet ", " Freedom for Press ", " Long Live Dalai Lama"....
And later Dalai Lama says that the Tibetans Culture becoming lost, "These 50 years have brought untold suffering and destruction to the land and people of Tibet," "Even today, Tibetans in Tibet live in constant fear and the Chinese authorities remain constantly suspicious of them.
But his hopes have never gone down and always believes to get back to his homeland Tibet with the Tibetan People.
