The 54rd San Francisco International Film Festival held a conversation with T Bone Burnett. Film critic Elvis Mitchell interviewed Burnett who won an Oscar for best song for Crazy Heart. He talked about working with Bob Dylan (his first job in movies in 1975), the Coen Brothers, Jeff Bridges, and many others.

Elvis Mitchell said the Big Lebowski was one of the best soundtrack albums. Burnett said all of the songs came from the character of the Dude.
