The 7th annual Music Video & Screen Awards known as the Movie Video and Screen Awards but still affectionately known as "The MViSAs" at the luxurious International Convention centre in Birmingham.

The Movie Video & Screen Awards formally known as the Music Video & Screen Awards (MViSAs) was a lavish evening of Music, Performances, Fine dining and of course our Grand Awards Ceremony.

This years Black International Film Festival MVISA Awards was co-hosted by the award winning actor Chuck Venn, Kinown fro his roles in East Enders as Ray Dixon and Lorna Laislow who plays the practice receptionist Mrs Tembe.

This year's event was certainly bigger than previous years, hence the increased seating capacity, entirely new look and a stellar line up.

The MViSAs organised by Dean Alexander rewards the creative talents of individuals who have contributed to the Film, Video Music, Television and Theatre industry and has grown to be one of the best awards events in the country.

The M-ViSAs continue to support people of colour by identifying and rewarding the creative talents of those individuals who have contributed to the Film, Music, Television and Theatre industry.

Last year's show was hosted by Holby City actor Hugh Quarshie who received our Ebony Award for his services to the industry. Other winners included this years host Chucky Venn, Jaye Jacobs,Charlene White, Chizzzy Akudolu and Eastenders for best soap.
